Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with Fe content are gradually developing into an independent branch in environmental remediation, requiring economical, effective, low-toxicity strategies to the complete procedure. In this review, recent advancements in the structure, synthesis, and environmental application focusing on the mechanism are presented.
