All reactions were conducted under either a nitrogen or argon atmosphere unless otherwise noted. Anhydrous procedures were conducted using oven dried or flame dried glassware and standard syringe and cannula transfer techniques. Hydrogenation was performed in a stainless steel autoclave. Solvents were of reagent grade, dried and distilled before use following standard procedures. 1H NMR spectra were recorded on a 400 MHz spectrometer.
