Two K-inefficient tolerant rice genotypes,N18 and N19,and K-inefficient sensitive rice genetype,N27 were used to investigate the variation of starch and protein contents under the K deficiency condition at the rice maturity stage.The results showed that the total grain starch content of the K-inefficient tolerant genotypes was slight higher than that of the K-inefficient sensitive rice genetype without application of potassium fertilizers,and the ratio of grain amylose to total starch content was lower than that of the K-inefficient sensitive rice genetype.The result also confirmed that the so...
