In this paper,24 papers of horticultural journal articles in the past four years were selected to analyze their English abstracts in terms of macro-structure and micro-linguistic features.Statistics shows that most of the English abstracts of horticultural journals conform to the IMRD model,and a few of them do not have I and D moves.Besides,M-R is the necessary move.In the micro-linguistic features,the past tense and active voice were used more frequently,and the first person was used less frequently.This result is expected to provide a ref...
