A pot experiment was conducted to study the metabolic responses of soybean to cadmium in two types of soils (alluvial soil and red soil) in Hunan. All physiological indexes were mensurated in the leave of soybean. The results investigated that the growing of soybean was inhibited in all treatments with cadmium.
