Existing calibration methods for contact parameters of soil discrete elements are primarily based on a single physical property of soil (e.g., natural accumulation angle and shear characteristics). To solve this limitation, a calibration method based on the area difference method was proposed in accordance with the actual operation effect of ridge and furrow opener.
