In order to investigate the bacterial infection of nursery pigs in large-scale swine farms,80 sick and dead nursery pigs from 10 large-scale swine farms in Changde,Huaihua and Chenzhou,Hunan province have been dissected for bacterial isolation and antibiotic susceptibility tests.The results showed that bacteria were isolated from 70 piglets with a separation rate of 87.5%(70/80),among which Escherichia coli,Streptococcus suis,Haemophilus parasuis,and Pasteurella multocida infection accounted for 52.50%(42/80),48.8%(39/80),30.0%(24/80),and 15.0%(12/80),respectively.The antibiotic susceptibility...
