Taenia pisiformis is one of the most widespread gastrointestinal parasites and its larvae (cysticercosis) causes significant economic loss to rabbit industry. No efficient drug is available for this disease to date. To better understand its genomics, we assembled a 211-Mb high quality genome of T. pisiformis at chromosome level with a scaffold N50 size of 20 Mbp.
