A 3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate derivative of cellulose immobilized onto the aminopropyl-modified silica gel was used as a chiral stationary phase and separation of five enantiomers was successfully performed by a home-made chiral capillary liquid chromatography system. Different chromatographic parameters such as resolution, column efficiency, and retention time were comparatively investigated using three chiral stationary phases with different coatings.
