PY and GLGPGVG exhibited protective effects against UV‐induced damage in HFFs. Protective mechanisms of GLGPGVG involve stimulated SOD and inhibited MMP‐12. Part of GLGPGVG could pass through the Caco‐2 monolayer intactly. Abstract Studies have indicated the potential of oral elastin hydrolysates in repairing photoaging skin.
