种子是农业的“芯片”，当前种业发展的战略性地位被提到了前所未有的高度，支持种业高质量发展成为了金融业的重要使命。我国种业起步时间较晚，规模与发达国家有一定差距，种业企业的发展受各方面因素影响面临着挑战，种业企业急需注入“金融能量”。以湖南省为例，通过考察金融支持种业发展现状，研究湖南种业高质量发展对金融服务的需求，提出相关建议：增强金融服务种业高质量发展的意识，拓宽种企融资渠道，增加服务种业的创新金融产品，积极搭建服务种企的投融资平台，细化完善种企支持保障体系，构建有效风险共担机制。
