The purpose of this research was to explore the effect of phenazine-1-carboxamide (PCN) on Rhizoctonia solani and to elucidate its mechanisms of action. The toxicity of PCN to R. solani was measured using a growth rate method. The results indicated that PCN inhibited R. solani with a 50% effective concentration (EC50) of 9.0934 μg/mL. The mycelia of R. solani were then exposed to 18.18 μg/mL (2EC50) of PCN.
