隐喻是一种重要的认知工具,而意象图式是隐喻的认知基础,在概念域的映射中起着重要的作用。空间隐喻对人类概念的形成具有特殊的意义,同时表现为一种意象图式。In、on、at作为常用的空间介词,最直接地体现了空间动静态关系。意象图式与隐喻映射是介词in、on、at语义拓展的认知机制。介词in、on、at从空间概念的始源域映射到非空间概念的目的域,即从空间域拓展到时间域、状态域、范围域、方式域以及其他域。

Metaphor is an important cognitive tool.Image schema is the cognitive basis of metaphor,which plays an important role in the mapping of conceptual domains.Spatial metaphor has a special meaning for the formation of human concept,and it also appears as an image schema.The spatial prepositions in,on and at are commonly used in English,which most directly reflects the dynamic and static relationship of space.Based on the image schema theory and spatial metaphor,this paper explores the cognitive motivation and expansion way of the spatial metaphorical meaning of prepositions in,on and at.Image sch...
