集群竞争替代企业竞争成为经济发展的主流，成为推动区域经济发展的重要力量。湖南作为中部农业大省，经济的发展脱离不了农业的发展。以羊楼司竹业产业集群为例，运用GEM模型，从资源、设施、供应商和辅助行业、企业结构战略和竞争、本地市场、外部市场6大因素实证分析了湖南农业产业集群的竞争力，得出羊楼司竹业的竞争力水平处于全国平均水平，竞争优势不明显。
