In this work, silver nanoparticles supported on polydopamine-kaolin composite (PDA-kaolin-Ag) was fabricated by an in-situ reduction method with PDA as both reductant and stabilizer. The morphology, composition, and structure of PDA-kaolin-Ag composite were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
