Functionalized magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) as new-generation adsorbents have been widely used in environmental problems treatment processes due to their unique physical and chemical properties. MNPs has excellent efficiency towards the elimination of pesticides, antibiotics as well as toxic metals in agricultural wastewater because various specific functional groups anchoring the surface of magnetic nanoparticles, which can efficiently remove contaminants.
