To elucidate adsorption characteristics and mechanisms of prochloraz on montmorillonite, kaolinite, attapulgite and sepiolite, batch equilibrium methods were used to detect and measure the adsorption amount of prochloraz using HPLC and FT-IR. The results indicated that adsorption of prochloraz on four clay minerals both reached equilibrium within 12 h, and Elovich equation was the best adsorption kinetic model(R2〉0.88, P〈0.05, n=9).
