Spodoptera frugiperda has invaded China and spread rapidly,the discovery and protection of native natural enemies is a significant way to effectively suppress its outbreaks.In this study,the parasitic behavior of Microplitis similis collected from Changsha,China on different instar larvae of S.frugiperda was observed.And the change of the body weight and feed intake of the parasitized larvae were measured.The results showed that M.similis could successfully parasitized the 2nd to 4th instars larvae of S.frugiperda,significantly inhibited the body weight gain and food intake of larvae.Parasitic...
