本文在观察长沙市湖南烈士公园400多株不同树龄,不同品种山茶花树生物学特性的基础上,对修剪与花芽形成的关系进行了初步探讨,认为合理修剪是保持和提高山茶花观赏价值的必要技术措施之一,并提出了山茶花适宜的树形及三种基本修剪方法。
