Epitrimerus pyri(Nalepa)is newly found as a species of pest damaging pearseriously. The adult and nymph mites absorb the juice from both sides of the main veins onthe back of leaves. Reproduction is by means of laging eggs individually and exposedly.Most of eggs are laid on the both sides of the main veins on the back of leaves.
