The behaviou response of the scelionid Telenomus cuproctidis to ovipositonal stimulants was studied by utilizing the artificial host eggs cultured with improved petri disk.The results showed that no matter whether the solution in the artificial host eggs was water or the supernatant of host egg homogenate,the scelionid performed antennae drumming and ovipositor probing,but only when the solution was the supernatant of host egg homogenate,did the performance last long which suggested that the supernatant of the host egg homogenate be an ovipositional stimulant needed for oviposition of the scel...
