为解决南方稻区早稻谷积压问题 ,发挥水稻生产和畜牧业的优势 ,经 1996～ 1999年连续 4年的研究 ,筛选出近期推广应用的早稻高蛋白饲料稻品种 （组合 ） 6个 ,晚稻品种 4个 ;研创了饲料稻“三壮三高”（壮秧、壮秆、壮籽 ,高产、高蛋白、高出糙率 ）综合栽培技术体系 ;研制了饲料稻“糙米型”猪系列饲料配方 .
