Efficiency Evaluation of Hunan Listed Companies and Influencing Factors

基于Malmquist指数法对湖南上市公司在2014—2017年期间的全要素生产率进行评价,并从区域经济发展、金融支持、企业特征三个层面实证检验湖南上市公司全要素生产率的影响因素。研究结论显示:①总体而言,湖南上市公司在2014—2017年期间的全要素生产率表现出上升趋势,主要体现在技术效率上升和实现技术进步两个方面。②区域经济和金融支持对湖南上市公司的技术进步指标影响显著,其中区域经济对技术进步指标产生显著的负向影响,而金融支持对其产生显著的正向影响。③主营业务的增长是提高企业全要素生产率的关键因素之一。

Based on the research background of 13 th Five-Year Plan, this paper evaluates Hunan listed companies’ total factor productivity(TFP) during the period of 2014-2017 by the means of the Malmquist index method and empirically tests the influencing factors of the TFP from three aspects which are regional economic development, financial support and firm characteristics.
