The residue of Trebon insecticide in wet environmental samples is extracted with acetone (water sample and dry sample with petroleum ether) and the extract is reextracted with petroleum ether. After being concentrated by evaporation, the reextract is partitioned by acetonitrile saturated with petroleum ether.
