土力学是大土木工程专业的一门重要的专业基础课程，把握好其基本原理的教学内容和方法是土力学课程教学改革中最重要的部分。本文对学生在学习过程中易产生混淆的几个基本概念进行了分析和讨论，使学生能更准确地理解这些概念，对今后工程实践中运用相关知识来解决岩土工程问题有所帮助。
