The influence of the airflow field around the conditioning roll of a mower conditioner on the forage harvesting process cannot be ignored. Full factorial simulation tests of the airflow field of a single conditioning roll and double conditioning roll were carried out, respectively, by taking the roll type, roll rotational velocity, and roll clearance as factors. The results show that the average airflow velocity around the conditioning rolls has a linear positive correlation with the roll velocity and an exponential negative correlation with the distance from the centre of the conditioning rol...
