随着世界经济的全球化,石油对于一个国家经济的发展显得至关重要。石油英语作为通用语,具有时效性强、学科跨度广、常用缩略语和抽象名词的特点。本文针对石油英语文献的特点,结合笔者的翻译实践,认为功能对等翻译理论的语义对等和语体对等对其翻译有很好的指导意义。
