This study investigated the relationships of superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) content with the Cd contents in brown rice under the stress of different concentrations of Cd through hydroponic experiments using Zhongjiazao 17 rice cultivar. The results showed that the SOD activity and MDA content are positively correlated with the Cd stress concentration during the whole growth stage.
