Plant tissue culture often suffers from latent infections, leading to significant losses in both research laboratories and industrial production. This study introduces an innovative strategy by incorporating Coriolus versicolor polysaccharide (CVP) into tea plant tissue culture systems to control latent infections without compromising plant growth. The standard Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium, supplemented with agar, sucrose, 6-Benzyladenine (BA), and Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), was further enriched with CVP.
