Peanut is vulnerable under waterlogging stress, and it is important to explore efficient agronomic practices to reduce adverse effects induced by waterlogging stress. In this study, the effects of waterlogging stress on plant morphology, physiological and biochemical characters in peanut seedlings were studied. It was founded waterlogging stress posted adverse effects on plant growth and development and triggered the activities of antioxidant enzymes and osmotic adjustment substances to improve the plant tolerance under stress.
