Objective: The content of reducing sugar and the components of 13 varieties of potato were determined by ion chromatography. Methods: CarboPac PA20(150 mm×3 mm) was used as the separation column. NaOH solution was used as eluent to separate 6 kinds of monosaccharides from the separation column, the eluent flow rate was 0.4 mL/min. Results: Arabia sugar, galactose, glucose, xylose, fructose could reach the baseline separation, each component had a wide linear range, reproducibility.
