In this paper, the theoretical mechanism of poverty reduction in the farmland transfer is first analyzed. Then, the effect of farmland circulation on the incidence of rural poverty in poverty-stricken areas of Hunan Province is empirically studied by a multiple linear regression, with the level of economic development, historical factors, ethnic factors and other variables as the control variables.
