Aeromonas hydrophila, a heterotrophic and Gram-negative bacterium, has attracted considerable attention owing to the increasing prevalence of reported infections. Colistin is a last-resort antibiotic that can treat life-threatening infections caused by multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria.
