Objective To investigate the effects of rice bran sterol (RBS) on immune function in rats. Methods One hundred and sixty healthy SD rats were randomly assigned to four groups:control group (CN, given normal saline by gavage), and RBS low, medium and high dose treatment groups(RBS-L,RBS-M,RBS-H, given RBS at 30, 75, 150 mg/kg bw, respectively by daily gavage).
