Two two-line hybrid rice combinations, Peiliangyou E32 and Peiliangyou 210, were used as representa- tive combinations of high-node-ratooning type and low-node-ratooning type, respectively, to study the ratooning characteristics of axillary buds of these two different ratooning types of hybrid rice in vivo and in vitro.
