Based on the technique of multiple overtones and wide frequency quartz crystal microbalance with dissipating monitoring (QCM-D), the dynamic changes in viscoelasticity of cell wall and cytoskeleton of model plant tobacco BY-2 cells under the treatments of 2,4-D were monitored for the first time.
