The biodegradation ability as well as the optimum degradation conditions of diethyl phthalate (DEP) were investigated by the white-rot fungus model species-Phanerochaete chrysosporiumwas investigated. The results showed that the LiP and MnP activities of the immobilized P. chrysosporium are higher than that of free mycelium.
