摘要:
The work reports the anomalous lattice shrinkage phenomenon in a Cr3+‐activated β‐Al2O3 structure phosphor. The relevant reason can be ascribed to the distinct variation of covalency of chemical bonds, thus improving phosphors‘ optical properties. Furthermore, the relationship between the preferential occupation of Cr3+ and the unique spectral properties are discussed and the existence of Cr3+–Cr3+ coupling pairs is revealed.
