A Multimodal Perspective on Reconstruction of College English Corner---A Case Study on Current Situation of English Corner in Human Higher Universities

对湖南省4所高校的英语角执行现状实地采访与问卷调查发现：高校的英语角现状不容乐观，英语角作为第二课堂的重要地位在日趋减弱。该文基于多模态理论提出建立“多模态英语角模式”，并借鉴成功英语角的开设特点，从英语角参与的对象、构成的环境、活动内容等方面提出具体对策，以此重新树立英语角在提高大学生尤其是英语专业学生英语水平上的重要地位，并强化其功能。

Based on the investigation of current situation of English Corner in four Hunan Higher Universities, it has been found that the function of English Corner as Second Class has been undermined.
