4 types of FeOOH/ MnO2 ,Fe/ Mn molar ratio of which were 5 / 100,10 / 100,15 / 100 and 20 / 100,were prepared by chemical deposition. The material which had the best adsorption effect was chosen and its properties for removal of As from aqueous solution were investigated. The results show 20 / 100 FeOOH/ MnO2 has the best adsorption effect,and reaches equilibrium within 10 min,which is much faster than that of pure MnO 2 and Fe-Mn bimetal oxide.
