RATIONALE: Macleaya microcarpa (Maxim.) Fedde is a genus of Macleaya belonging to papaveraceae family. Benzylisoquinoline alkaloids are considered the main bioactive constituents of M. microcarpa. METHODS: Using HPLC-Q/TOF-MS/MS we identified the benzylisoquinoline alkaloids in the aerial parts of M. microcarpa at early flowering stage. Target profiling and identification of benzylisoquinoline alkloids in the extracted samples from fresh aerial parts of M. microcarpa were exclusively based on a personal accurate mass database of known compounds combined with the mass spectral fragmentation beh...
