Since 1978, technology import aggregate amount and R＆D input of China increase very fast. Based on current litera-tures, after discussing the effect of technology import on R＆D input from the angle of the aggregate amount and structure, some conclusions are drawn. On the aggregate amount , R＆D input benefits to the technology import increasing, while technology import doesn＇t cause the R＆D input increasing.
