Plant pathogenic fungi, Rhizoctonia solani and bacteria, such as Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzicola and X. campestris pv. citri, caused critical loss in agriculture. Developing new alternative biological agents with high efficiency and low toxicity is needed. In this work, An antagonistic Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain SU8 from a farm breeding ducks and growing rice simultaneously was isolated.
