高校校园竞技体育文化是高校校园体育文化的重要组成部分,对广大师生的业余文化生活、活跃校园气氛,培养体育精神有着十分重要的作用.本文通过分析竞技体育的定义、内涵、特征和功能,指出竞技体育文化仍然是高校体育文化的主流;同时,高校校园竞技体育应根据高校体育和学生的特点,适当减少竞技体育的"竞技"性,增加非正规性竞技体育以提高其娱乐性,对高校深入实施素质和健康教育具有积极的促进作用.

The universities campus athletics sports culture is important constituent of the universities campus sports culture. It has very important effect on the spare-time culture life to extensive teacher and student, enlivening the campus atmosphere and training sports spirit. The paper analyses definition, connotation, characteristic and function of athletics sports, pointing out athletics sports culture is still main current of the universities sports culture.
