Revelation of Task-based Approach to Undergraduate English Language Teaching in Independent Colleges

独立学院是我国高等教育大众化过程中产生的新型办学机制,教学条件和生源的差异性要求其采用有别于一般高校的英语教学模式,以适应我国社会发展与国际交流新形势下对独立学院人才培养的需求特点。任务型英语教学模式的构建与优化不仅符合学习者的认知规律,而且为其构建知识提供了有利的环境与条件,已成为当前国内外大学英语教学的主流模式。针对国内独立学院英语教学的现状,对任务型英语教学模式的基本内涵、优势、局限性以及引进实施过程中面临的问题进行了综述,以期为当前独立学院英语教学新模式的构建提供参考。
