从社会分层视角,探讨大众体育分层发展的现状,指出分层发展是大众体育发展的必然趋势;提出我国大众体育分层发展策略：非均衡发展是合理优化与整合体育资源的重要策略;建设与管理好城市社区体育和小城镇社区体育是大众体育健康发展的关键;建设和完善多元化的公共体育服务体系是当前我国社会体育事业可持续发展的重要内容。
