利用中国1997-2011年的省际面板数据,以面板分位回归方法为主要工具研究广义教育投入与狭义教育投入对经济增长的回报率。结果表明：教育投入与经济增长之间存在双向因果关系,财政教育投入与经济增长只存在单向因果关系。随着GDP的增加,教育对经济增长的回报率在逐步降低,这反映了中国各地区教育实际需求与教育投入不足的矛盾。

Use is made of Chinese inter-provincial panel data from 1997 to 2011 to reseach into the broad sense education investment and narrow sense education investment by using panel quantile regression as a primary tool. The result suggests two-way causality between education investment and economic growth, and one-way causality between financial education investment and economic growth.
