Octylphenol polyethoxylate (OP n EO) is a potential endocrine-disrupting chemical. Biodegradation of OP n EO was investigated using the bacterium Aeromonas sp. TXBc10 isolated from the influent of tannery waste treatment plant in Hunan Province, China.
