Fe/MnO2 flower-like 3-dimensional nanostructure synthesized by hydrothermal procedure was used to remove As from aqueous solution. The Fe/MnO2 dispersing flower-like sphere with the diameter of 500∼800 nm and the width of petal of 20∼30 nm was characterized by SEM. Sorption of arsenic to Fe/MnO2 reached equilibrium in less than 180 s, which was much faster than that of pure MnO2 and amorphous iron manganese binary oxide.
