The aim of this study was to investigate the antibacterial activity of Amaranthus tricolor leaf extracts and to identify its antibacterial components. The antibacterial activities of A. tricolor leaf extracts against Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrulli, Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri, Erwinia carotovora, Pseudomonas solanacearum and Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae, using the Oxford cup method was evaluated.
